The day in the life of a model.
To start out I went to work Monday morning and worked until 1:30. At that time I left work and headed to the Rock House Salon for a hairdo and facial. I had a wonderful time being pampered.
My hair looked great and so was the makeup. You should have seen my eyes they sparkled. These ladies donated their talents to make this all possible. Then off to the best photographer, Steve Newby.
They had planned for me to wear silver jewelery, but when I got there with my jewelery, they decided on the gold so guess what, no gold hearing. Mr. Newby decided no earrings, I was kind of sad because I like dangling earrings. I did get to wear my cremation necklace.
I could not figure out how to rotate these two pictures when I imported them. I am posing and had lots of help to make sure everything was just right.
My part is now done. I wrote my story, had my hair done, had my makeup applied and did my best to do just what Mr. Newby want. Big smile, lean closer, turn you head, no that is to much, now the other side. I did my best and I hope Mr Newby does his best, because I don't like getting my picture taken and I am never satisfied with how I look.
You by now are thinking, "what is going on?" I was honored when Pink Ribbon Boutique ask me to be one of the 12 calendar girls, Angels 2013. Not sure what month I am going to be but I can't wait to see the results of all the hard work done from everyone behind the scene made this afternoon very special and for a good cause. The calendars will go on sale in October for $10.00 and all of the money goes to Relay For Life. How special can that be.
