Guess what?  It is Friday night and we are going to have to leave this beautiful place.  By Tuesday of this next week Isaac the Hurricane should be making the waves here on the beach very dangerous.  Today was the best day at the ocean.  The water was clearing up from last weeks storms.  In fact one Floridian said it had rained every day for a month.  I am glad it stopped on Tuesday.  We were able to go to the ocean each day.  We went from ocean, to kiddy pools, to lazy river and back to the condo for food.  Aida would take a nap and the routine started all over again.  Dylan and I got our last trip to the ocean at sunset.  Here is a couple of pictures and Mike took a couple of me when I was not aware off.  I am glad he did.  I think I got my picture take every day of the trip.  What memories.

After I had my birthday lunch with Mike and Dylan the shark wanted to eat me.  So glad I had a smile on my face.

What a sun set.

I bought me a shirt to wear to the beach because I got to much sun the first of the week.  Look how beautiful the ocean is, white sand, emerald green water with the blue of the ocean and sky.

Aida and I are playing in the pool.  Water is only about 6 to 8 inches deep.  The water was great.

I averaged about 150 pictures each day.  I had both of my cameras.  I didn't take my big camera until the last night where I took the sunset pictures.  I thought my little camera did a good job for all the activity that was going on.

I learned a few things when going to the beach.  Have more than one bathing suit and beach towel. The sun screen needs to be a 50, not 30.  You can use a whole tube in one week at the beach.  If your condo has a washer and dryer, don't bring all of your clothes.

Cathy, thanks for commenting on my blog.  I am ready for you to show me  how you have a listing on the left side of your blog with your pictures numbered.  Also I am going to try the Scavenger Hunt again this week.  Hoping I can learn to post it to the web site.

Well it is 10:30 and 5 will be here before I know it.  Thanks for reading my blog.

Day 4 -Tuesday
We got up and headed out to have breakfast at Another Broken Egg, and then we walked the docks.  I think I got some good pictures

Look at the beautiful sand bar in the distant.  White sand.

They bought a boat for Dylan and they had a good time with the waves.

The ocean was very rough.  Normally this part of the ocean is calm. The waves would just knock you down.

The week is ending to soon.  I am behind on the posting.  I am having such a good time.

I am a little confused. Today is day four but I have been posting one day behind so this is our day 3

No, the kids are not in jail.  They are feeding the ducks, which are right below our patio.

There are five ducks and the little one on the top center has gimped up wing.  He just waddles different than the other but he still keep up.

On a rainy day what do you do when your are forced to stay inside.  Fly kites, that is what we did.  They were so cute.  The kites are about  five inches by 4.   Perfect because Nana had brought her fan.

The flag is red.  That means the undercurrent is real strong and we should beware.

Here is a picture of my room.  It is not a "sleep number bed" but the room is really nice.

God gave a promise to Noah and us.  We took it as a sign that the weather we be better for us.

What a smile.  He has his pirate beach cover up on.  Doesn't he look cute.
It was a wonderful day yesterday.  Gina went shopping and Mike and I volunteered to stay home with the kids.  We went to the kiddy water area, ate left over pizza and then Aida took a nap.  Mike and I had a good time visiting and keeping Dylan entertained.

Day 2
I rained off an on all day.  We took a drive, went to a souvenir shop, walked the board walk.  Ate lunch a a Red brink oven pizza, supper at Fudpuckers restaurant.  I had fried fish, shrimp, fries and slaw.  It was so tasty.  Back to the beach as soon as we got back to the condo.  I think we will all rest better tonight.

We ordered  bread sticks and pizza.  Dylan and I watched as they made them.  It was real neat.

We didn't make this one up.  We were on the USS Moon

We went down to the boardwalk and took pictures of the USS Moon. It was a small boat setting in front of the boardwalk.  They had a lot of fun running around.
It was blowing real hard but we went out on the pier.  We got to see Dolphins.  It was fun.

What a close call Dylan had.  The giant shark almost ate him.

I wanted to make sure that you knew that I was on this vacation.  I told them to take my picture.  Didn't matter that we didn't have any sun shine. We just had a good time.

This is looking at the pier from the boardwalk.  It is still raining for the 3rd day so i will only have a few to post tomorrow.

We are here and having a great time. Got to Okallosa about 2:00. Couldn't check in to around 4 so we walked down to the ocean. We have a water park at our condo so we went back and played in the kids water area until we got a text saying our room was ready. Just a few shots taken for our first day.

Aida is modeling her new beach cover up.  It is so cute.  Dylan has a pirate cover up but he would not let me take his picture.  I think he is camera shy.

We are all loving the water.  The storms were brewing out in the ocean and the waves were really big.  Aida loved but as you can see Mike had his work cut out for him.  He pulls her up out of the water as the wave come in.  Neither one of the kids are afraid of the water.  He is jumping also as the waves break right at our feet

I mentioned the storms.  I am standing on our first floor balcony looking toward the ocean.  The ocean is to the right.  The lightening was over the ocean and the dark clouds continue to roll in.  The white sand in front is a dune and I found out we can't walk on them.  They are proctected by the government.  Has something do to with the eco system and the dunes are barriers for the waves.

Our balcony is very private.  The road right outside the door is closed to the public and right next to the dune.  The kids can run and play on the balcony and they are contained.

Our condo is really nice.  I have my own room, a large bathroom with a shower and a garden tub.  I have a double bed in my room and Mike and Gina's has a king size bed, larger bathroom and a TV.  There is a bunk room that has bunk beds.  That is where Dylan is sleeping.  Aida started out in her pack and play in the bunk room but finally her mom moved her bed into their room.  They did not get alot of sleep  I hope they sleep better tonight.  I also have a TV but I haven't had time to watch  any because I have too busy having fun.  We have a living room, dining room, kitchen and a pantry that has a washer and dryer.  The washer and dryer has come in handy because we go through a lot of clothes in one day.

We are making memories for a life time.  Aida learned to say my name a few weeks ago and I am ready to change my name.  She says my name several hundred times a day.  I told her today that I was changing it.

Hope to send you more pictures tomorrow.

SCAVENGER HUNT SUNDAY AUGUST 12,2012

SCAVENGER HUNT SUNDAY- AUG. 12, 2012

1.  Mobile photos
2.  Hanging by a thread
3.  Collage
4.  Always look on the bright side
5.  Home

I can take pictures with my phone but guess what I can't email them.  I sent my son a text to send this photo that was on my phone to my email address.  I hope this counts.  I will tell you that I have been into "Betty Boop" for years.  I have a bathroom decorated in "Betty Boop."  My grandkids are always buying me something for "Betty Boop."  These are going with me on my vacation starting Friday evening.

HANGING BY A THREAD
I found this heart shaped leaf hanging by a thread.  A spider web.

Number 3
I never could figure out how to do a collage, but I sure had some good pictures of my hummingbird.

LOOKING ON THE BRIGHT SIDEMy work place.  The files could be higher.

HOME
I hope that my home will always make memories for my grandchildren.

SCAVENGER HUNT SUNDAY - AUGUST 5TH

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

This is my first time to post for Scavenger Hunt Sunday.  This past week we were to take pictures of:
1. Going Back In Time
2. Something just for me
3. Best Part of my day
4. Day and Night
5. Lookup
My sister has been doing Scavenger Hunt Sunday for several months and I always enjoy her post.  I am not as good a photographer as she is but I hope to be one day.

GOING BACK IN TIME.
Every thing on this Screen represents part of my past: Church fan, muffin holder, buttons from my grandmothers button jar wired around a jar from my grandfathers bottle tree, door handle from my grandparents home.  These bring back good memories to me.

SOMETHING JUT FOR ME.
I loved to read.  I have always enjoyed book, but when the Kindle came along I had to have one.  I love to read my Bible, Children's books and murder mysteries.

BEST PART OF MY DAY
The best part of my day is when I get home and take my shoes off.  That is such a good feeling.  I know that the rest of the evening can be spent anyway I want to; such as taking pictures.

NIGHT & DAY.
This is day turning into night.  I don't recommend it put I was heading home on the interstate.  Camera is braced on the sterning wheel as I go down the road during at least 70.  I just couldn't let this moment past with out capturing it.
LOOK UP.
I am always saying if God would just write it on the wall then I would know what to do.  When I saw the Letters in the sky I thought of the Bible story.  Look hard in the middle of picture toward the left,  M2.  Not sure what the message is all about  it just looked neat and my last name starts with an "M".
I am looking forward to this week.
