Every time I post I say I am going to post more often so I remember how to create the header.  I spent more time trying to figure this one out put I got it done.

Love the Swans

My Sister and I went to Heber Springs Tuesday to see the Trumpeter Swans.  Last year we went to late in the season and we only got to see three.  This year we were determine to go  in time to see even more.  It was a success.  There were at least 100 mostly across the far bank so we couldn't get close enough, but that was alright because there were a few on our side of the bank.

The sun was reflecting off the water and it made the Swans beautiful.

These little black and white ducks were  there by the hundreds also.  They were so cute.  The would go under water and you would think they were never coming up and then they would just pop out and glide over the water
I found out why they are called Trumpeter swans.  I am not sure how they make the sound because it didn't look like they were opening their beck but when they made the noise it sounded like trumpet.  A loud and lonely sound could be heard.

We went this year and last year and I was so surprised at how many people had come to see the swans.  When we drove up there were five cars parked and one car even had out of state license plates.

There is a fence where we could not get to close to the swans but that didn't matter.  We took our pictures over the fence and sometimes through the fence.  We were told that in the evening more swans come to the lake. Maybe one day we can go late in the evening.  The down side of that is our cameras.
